Job summary

Lotus Recruitment Ltd is partnering with a forward-thinking secondary academy in Sheffield to recruit a dedicated Teaching Assistant for secondary age groups. You will support students across subjects and year groups, working with individuals and small groups to raise attainment and confidence, and assist teachers in delivering engaging, inclusive lessons.

The role also provides tailored support for students with additional needs, encourages positive behaviour, and aims to develop independence,

Qualifications

• Experience working with young people in a school, educational or mentoring setting.
• A positive, patient and proactive approach.
• Strong communication and relationship-building skills.
• A commitment to inclusion and high expectations for all students.
• Experience supporting SEND pupils is desirable but not essential.
