Flexible EYFS Teaching Assistant - Primary Schools (Sheffield)

Are you an experienced Early Years practitioner looking to take control of your working week? Tradewind Recruitment is currently looking to recruit dedicated and qualified Teaching Assistants to support EYFS classes on a flexible, short-notice basis across a variety of Sheffield primary schools.

This is an excellent opportunity for those who thrive in the Early Years environment and enjoy the variety and pace of working in different schools. You'll step in to support learning when schools need it most, whether that's for sickness cover, training days or unexpected absences.

What the Role Involves:

• Supporting Nursery and Reception children in their learning and play

• Working under the direction of the class teacher to deliver engaging early years provision

• Offering one-to-one or small group support depending on the needs of the setting

• Creating a warm, safe, and stimulating learning environment for young learners

• Being ready to work at short notice and adapting quickly to different school settings

What You'll Need to Apply:

• A minimum Level 2 Early Years or Teaching Assistant qualification (Level 3 preferred)

• Previous experience working in an EYFS classroom setting within a primary school or nursery

• Availability for at least 3 days per week

• Strong knowledge of the EYFS framework and early childhood development

• Ideally, access to your own transport to travel between schools in the Sheffield area
