About The Role

• The Level 2 Teaching Assistant role is based at Sitwell Junior School,Rotherham,S60 3LA.
• 30 hours per week, Monday - Friday: 08:30 15:00, term time only.

Key Duties

The successful Level 2 Teaching Assistantwill:

• Work under the guidance of Teaching staff or Higher-level Teaching Assistants.
• Implement agreed work programmes with individuals / groups both within and out of the classroom.
• Support pupils in improving their social skills through good behaviour and play at playtimes and lunchtimes.
  
  

About You

The successful Level 2 Teaching Assistantshould have:

• NVQ Level 2 for Teaching Assistants or equivalent qualifications / experience.
• Previous experience working with children in a primary setting.
• An understanding of Safeguarding in a primary school.
