The Nursery and Role

Come and work for an established private day care setting in the heart of Rochdale.

Supporting children within the preschool and Two-Year provision.

• Do you have the capability to support our youngest children with Language, Physical and social and emotional skills through play
• Are you passionate about getting children back on track and learning through play but also doing this with compassion, empathy and an understanding of children’s feelings?
• Desirable, a keen interest in supporting children with Special Educational Needs?

You will be a Teaching Assistant working variable hours between 8am and 6:30pm this is flexible and on the basis of morning, day and late shifts. Every day can be different for the right person.

Requirements:

The requested skillset the desired Early Years Teaching Assistant role you will require;

• Distribute and adapt sessions.
• Knowledge of sensory needs or Special Educational awareness, triggers and strategies to support.
• Able to work on your own initiative and bring plenty of ideas to support Early Years development!
• Communicate your own ideas of how to deliver your favourite and interesting topics through play.
• Develop materials that will cater to the individual needs of children whilst aiming high for all children.
• Positive and resilient role model for children, parents and the local community.
