Higher-Level Teaching Assistant (HLTA) – Full-Time Role in Prestwich
Start Date: As soon as possible

Teaching Personnel is proud to be working in partnership with an inclusive, forward-thinking primary school in Prestwich that is dedicated to helping every child thrive. The school fosters a nurturing and collaborative environment that supports academic achievement and emotional wellbeing. They are now seeking a committed and experienced Higher-Level Teaching Assistant (HLTA) to join their team.

About the Role:
As a HLTA, you’ll work closely with class teachers to support high-quality teaching and learning across the curriculum. Your focus will be to provide targeted support for individual pupils and small groups, helping to ensure all children make progress and reach their full potential.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Support class teachers in delivering engaging and differentiated lessons
  • Provide 1:1 and small group support, both within the classroom and in intervention sessions
  • Contribute to creating a positive, inclusive, and stimulating learning environment
  • Support pupils’ emotional wellbeing and social development
  • Assist with planning, resource preparation, and tracking pupil progress
  • Deliver targeted interventions for students with additional learning needs
  • Maintain effective communication with teaching staff, parents, and external professionals
