Location: Portsmouth
Salary: Ark Support Staff Scale Band 3 Point 2 – 5: £22,433 - £23,500 FTE (Actual salary - £19,790 - £20,732)
Contract: 1 x fixed term & 1 x Permanent
Working pattern: 36 hours per week
Start date: As soon as available.

About the role:
We are seeking passionate, experienced and dedicated Teaching Assistants who will be responsible for assisting the learning and development of students ranging across all year groups. The role is to begin ASAP.

Our ideal candidate will:

• Have a minimum of 2 years’ experience as a teaching assistant,
• Have worked with children with specific learning, physical, and social needs.
• Be a good team player with good interpersonal skills.
• Have high expectations of pupil behaviour.
• Contribute to the ethos of a friendly, happy school, in which the personal development and well-being is given the highest priority and where both academic and personal qualities of children are recognised and valued.
