Job summary

David Ross Education Trust's Havelock Academy in England is seeking a dedicated classroom support assistant to help deliver learning programs under the supervision of the class teacher. You will work with individuals and groups, encouraging interaction and ensuring pupils access to appropriate activities to support their development.

This permanent, part-time role is 32.5 hours per week during a 39-week academic year, with a pro rata salary of around £20,072.69–£26,016 depending on experience.

Qualifications

• Have a sound knowledge and/or experience of the National Curriculum.
• Provide regular feedback to teachers on pupils' achievement and progress.
• Support the teaching and learning activities in the classroom under supervision.

• Be responsible for promoting and safeguarding the welfare of children and young people within the school.

32.5 hours per week - term time only - 39 weeks a year on a permanent contract

• To be responsible for promoting and safeguarding the welfare of children and young people within the school.
