Job Details
  • Location: Acorn Park School, Norwich, NR16 2HU
  • Salary: £20,906.25 per annum
  • Hours: 37.5 hours per week; Monday to Friday, 8.30am - 4.30pm
  • Contract: Permanent, Term Time only
About the Role

To provide high-quality educational support to students, working closely with teachers and tutors to facilitate an inclusive learning environment, especially for students with autism spectrum disorder.

Responsibilities
  1. Support classroom teaching and ensure the delivery of quality education.
  2. Assist in implementing educational policies and procedures.
  3. Provide tailored support to students to access the curriculum independently.
  4. Promote students’ physical, educational, and moral development.
  5. Maintain and manage resources and equipment effectively.
  6. Help organize classroom resources and displays to create stimulating learning environments.
  7. Assist in developing and updating individual education plans and related documentation.
  8. Collaborate with colleagues to ensure student safety on and off-site.
  9. Create teaching aids and resources as needed.
  10. Participate as a team member to foster positive working relationships.
