Job summary

Smile Education is seeking a caring and enthusiastic Teaching Assistant to join a welcoming primary school in Telford, supporting children across the Early Years Unit, including Nursery and Reception.

You will work both independently and with a team, assisting with play-based learning and helping children develop socially and educationally. This 4-week placement offers full-time hours and the chance to make a real impact in Early Years education.

Qualifications

• Previous experience working within an Early Years setting.
• Confident supporting young children's learning and development.
• Able to work independently and adapt to the needs of the classroom.
• Experience supporting children with SEND would be highly desirable.
• Reliable and available for the full 4-week placement.

We are currently recruiting for a caring and enthusiastic Teaching Assistant to join a welcoming primary school in Telford, supporting children across the Early Years Unit, including both Nursery and Reception classes. This is a fantastic opportunity for a Teaching Assistant with Early Years experience who is confident working both independently and as part of a team, following the guidance of the class teacher to support children's learning and development.
