Job summary

Smile Education is seeking a dedicated Teaching Assistant to join a welcoming primary school in Telford for a 4-week placement, starting after half term. The role covers Nursery and Reception, supporting early years development and play-based learning.

The ideal candidate has Early Years experience, can work independently, and is reliable for the full placement. SEND experience is highly desirable, with DBS/compliance checks required.

We are currently recruiting for a caring and enthusiastic Teaching Assistant to join a welcoming primary school in Telford, supporting children across the Early Years Unit, including both Nursery and Reception classes. This is a fantastic opportunity for a Teaching Assistant with Early Years experience who is confident working both independently and as part of a team, following the guidance of the class teacher to support children's learning and development.

• Support teaching and learning across Nursery and Reception.
• Assist with play-based learning activities and early development goals.
