St Joseph's Catholic Primary School in Mansfield Woodhouse is seeking a part-time Teaching Assistant to support teachers, plan differentiated activities, and assist with interventions across all age groups. The role is 24 hours per week during term time, with a salary in the OLOL Band 3 range and access to CPD opportunities.

You will help promote pupil well-being, build trusting relationships, and support 1:1 and small-group learning, contributing to an engaging and inclusive learning

Qualifications

• Experience supporting teachers in planning, differentiation and intervention strategies.
• Ability to establish supportive relationships with pupils and encourage questions and ideas.
• Willingness to work across all age groups and abilities, including SEN and behavioural needs.

  You will have a talent for engaging children and will be required to work flexibly across all age groups and abilities. You will support the work of our teachers in this varied role and duties include working in 1:1 situations, leading small groups and providing general classroom support. Working with children who have varying needs, from SEN to behavioural and emotional needs, you will encourage the acceptance and inclusion of all children. There will be opportunities to develop your career within the school which allows you to make a valued contribution to our children's learning. This is a permanent role starting November 2026. You will be working for 24 hours per week, term time only.
