Job summary

Crown Street Primary School in Manchester is seeking a friendly Teaching Assistant to join our SEND team, supporting pupils with a range of learning needs.

You will work with teachers to provide one-to-one and small group support, focusing on inclusive learning, independence, and self-esteem. The role is 30 hours per week, term-time only, 11:30am–5:30pm, with possibilities for flexible arrangements.

Qualifications

• Minimum of a Level 3 Childcare / Early Years qualification.
• Good knowledge and understanding of play and how to create opportunities for a wide range of ages.
• Previous experience of working in an Early Years Setting.

Responsibilities

• Provide high standards of care and play opportunities for children aged 4–11.
• Supervise pupils during lunchtime and support playground activities.
• Support during the school day and after-school club as required.
