Salary: £85 - £100 per day (depending on experience)

About the Role:

Teaching Personnel, the UK's leading education recruitment agency, is seeking dedicated Learning Support Assistants/SEN Teaching Assistants to work in mainstream secondary schools across Liverpool. You will work closely with teachers and other staff to provide tailored support to students with a variety of learning needs, including Autism, ADHD, Dyslexia, and other SEN.

As an LSA/SEN TA, you will:

• Assist in the classroom with individual or small group support.
• Help to implement and adapt educational plans to meet students' needs.
• Foster a positive and inclusive learning environment.
• Support students' emotional, social, and academic development.
• Work collaboratively with the class teacher and SENCo to monitor progress.

Key Responsibilities:

• One-to-one support for students with SEN.
• Helping to manage classroom behaviour and keep students engaged.
• Supporting students with physical, emotional, and learning challenges.
• Assisting with personal care, where required (training will be provided).

What We Are Looking For:

• Experience working with children or young people, particularly in an educational setting.
• Knowledge of SEN, including Autism, ADHD, and other learning difficulties.
• Patience, empathy, and a strong commitment to inclusive education.
• A valid Enhanced DBS check (or willingness to obtain one through Teaching Personnel).
• Relevant qualifications or training (e.g., CACHE Level 2/3, SENCO training) are a bonus but not essential.
