Are you an experienced and dedicated Special Educational Needs Teaching Assistant with a passion for making a difference in the lives of students with diverse needs? If so, we have an exciting opportunity for you to join our team at a secondary school in Sefton.
We are a thriving secondary school committed to providing a supportive and inclusive educational environment for our students. We are currently seeking an experienced SEN Teaching Assistant to support students with Social, Emotional, and Mental Health (SEMH) needs, Autism Spectrum Condition (ASC), and Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder (ADHD).
As a TA, your role will involve providing 1:1 and small group support for young people to maximize their educational experience. You will assist in setting up equipment, preparing materials for lessons, and recording achievements and progress. You will also support and assist the Teacher in promoting positive behaviour and encouraging pupils to take responsibility for their actions.
Axcis offers free Continuing Professional Development (CPD) and safeguarding training, along with competitive pay rates. The role starts at £95 - £110 per day, depending on experience.
