Job summary

Connex Education Partnership is recruiting a Day-to-Day Primary Teaching Assistant for an ASAP start in Leicester. You will provide flexible day-to-day support across EYFS, KS1, and KS2, assisting with whole-class lessons, small groups, or 1:1 support as required.

Roles are based in primary schools across Leicester and Leicestershire, with competitive weekly PAYE payments and access to CPD courses. Commitment to safeguarding and DBS checks is required.

Qualifications

• Experience working within a primary school setting.
• Level 2 or Level 3 Teaching Assistant qualification desirable but not essential.
• Strong communication and behaviour management skills.
• Adaptable, reliable, and professional.
• A genuine passion for supporting children’s learning and development.
• Enhanced DBS on the update service or willing to apply.

Responsibilities

• Support whole-class learning as required.
• Work with small groups and provide 1:1 support as needed.
• Deliver flexible day-to-day cover across EYFS, KS1, and KS2.
• Assist across Leicester City and Leicestershire schools.
