Job summary

The Witherslack Group is seeking a Teaching Assistant in Leicester to support pupils with ASD/SEMH, helping them learn, develop, and build self-esteem. The role is permanent within a primary SEND setting, offering a competitive salary and strong team support.

You will work closely with teachers and therapists to implement learning activities, celebrate progress, and contribute to a positive, inclusive school environment. Full induction and ongoing training are provided.

Qualifications

  • Experience working in a classroom preferred.
  • Experience with SEND/Autism/SEMH would be beneficial.
  • Resilience and dedication to support students' learning and self-esteem.
