Job summary

Witherslack Group is seeking Teaching Assistants at Avon Park School in Royal Leamington Spa to support pupils with autism, ADHD, and SEMH. You’ll help children learn, raise self-esteem, and work closely with teachers and therapists.

You’ll need resilience, a can-do attitude, and be part of a supportive, well-resourced environment with full induction, school holidays, progression opportunities, and a contributory pension.

Qualifications

  • Experience working with children and young people with SEND is desirable.
  • Ability to stay resilient and support learners with ASD/SEMH.
  • Willingness to participate in training and induction.

Responsibilities

  • Support learning for pupils with autism and SEMH needs.
  • Collaborate with teachers and therapists to plan activities.
  • Help pupils develop confidence, resilience and self-esteem.
