Job summary

Sherford Vale School & Nursery in Lancashire invites applications for one permanent Teaching Assistant working 30 hours per week across 38 weeks per year. We are seeking caring, friendly and experienced individuals to join our supportive team and help pupils thrive.

You will support a range of learners, including those with SEND, promote high standards of behaviour and learning, and work closely with colleagues to deliver high-quality pupil support.

Qualifications

• Applicants should hold a minimum Level 2 Teaching Assistant qualification (or equivalent) and/or have a proven track record of successful experience working with children in an educational setting.
• Experience of supporting children with SEND would be advantageous.

Due to the ongoing growth of Sherford Vale School and Nursery, we currently require 1 permanent Teaching Assistant - 30 hours per week, 38 weeks per year.

We are seeking to appoint caring, friendly, and experienced Teaching Assistants to join our supportive and dedicated team.

The successful candidates will:

• Demonstrate a secure understanding of the needs of all learner groups.
• Promote consistently high standards of behaviour and learning.
• Work effectively as part of a committed and supportive team.
• Provide high-quality support to help pupils achieve their best outcomes.
• Support children with Special Educational Needs and Disabilities (SEND), including working with individual pupils on a 1:1 basis where required.
