Job summary

Supply Team Education Ltd is seeking Teaching Assistants to work across Nursery, Primary and Secondary settings in Swansea. Roles are available full-time, part-time and ad-hoc to suit your circumstances and involve one-to-one and small group support.

Experience in education, social care, youth leadership or related fields is welcomed, with a focus on safeguarding and pupil welfare in line with school protocols.

Responsibilities

• To work under the guidance of the class teacher in supporting the pupils.
• Assisting with the preparation of the classroom before each lesson, as well as tidying/collecting workbooks etc at the end.
• Helping with reading groups; working on a one-to-one basis where required.
• Attendance of school trips; being aware of child protection and safeguarding protocols.
• Carrying out general administrative duties, as directed; helping to organise wall displays.

Teaching Assistant Swansea

Supply Team are seeking talented, reliable and enthusiastic Teaching Assistants to work within Nursery, Primary and Secondary School settings in Swansea.

In preperation for the new academic year in September, our Schools in Swansea require Teaching Assistants across all age groups, who are able to provide one-to-one support as well as being involved with small groups.

No qualifications needed, these roles require you to have gained experience in a similar environment; whether that be within Education, Social Care, Youth Leadership, Sports Coaching or something similar you will have all the transferable skills required to undertake the duties of a Teaching Assistant.

We have full-time, part-time and ad-hoc positions available, so whatever your circumstances, we will have a role that works for you.

What you can expect in the role of a Teaching Assistant:
