As a Teaching Assistant, you will work collaboratively with teachers and therapists to create a supportive and engaging learning environment. Your role will involve assisting students in actively participating in their academic and social activities, promoting their independence, and contributing to their overall development. You will support the class teacher in daily classroom operations and contribute to a broad and balanced curriculum, ensuring each student can achieve their full potential.
Full-time, Term Time Only
Essential: GCSE Maths and English Language (Grade 4 or equivalent). Desirable: Level 2-3 Teaching Assistant Qualification (or working towards).
Experience working with pupils with SEMH (Social, Emotional, and Mental Health) and ASD (Autism Spectrum Disorder) is required. Candidates must hold a full UK driving licence and have access to their own vehicle due to the school's location.
