Job Title: Teaching Assistant

Position Type: Full-Time

Pay: £80 - £100 per day

Position Overview:

We are seeking a passionate and enthusiastic Teaching Assistant to join a vibrant and inclusive mainstream primary school located in the heart of Chiswick, London. In this role, you will support teachers and students to ensure a positive and engaging classroom environment. Your responsibilities will include assisting with lesson planning, collaborating with other Teaching Assistants, providing one-on-one or small group support to students, and fostering a welcoming and inclusive atmosphere within the school.

Key Responsibilities:

• Collaborate with classroom teachers and fellow teaching assistants to plan and deliver effective lessons.
• Support individual students or small groups to meet their specific learning needs.
• Assist with classroom and behaviour management strategies.
• Help create and maintain a positive, inclusive learning environment.
• Contribute to the development of teaching resources and materials.

Qualifications:

• Minimum of GCSEs (or equivalent) in English and Mathematics.
• Relevant experience working with children in an educational setting is preferred.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Patience, empathy, and a passion for working with children.
• Ability to work effectively as part of a team.
