Manor House School is an independent special educational needs provision supporting boys and girls aged 7 to 18 with social, emotional, and mental health needs. As a Teaching Assistant, you will engage directly with pupils and young people, helping them maximize their educational potential. You will prepare learning materials, run classroom activities, and support their emotional and physical needs, fostering their development and engagement.
Supporting pupils with complex SEMH needs is rewarding, and you will benefit from the support of our experienced teams. Your efforts will lead to meaningful progress in their lives, providing a sense of achievement and fulfillment.
We welcome candidates with GCSE C or above (or equivalent) in English and Maths, and some experience with SEN and within a school setting.
You should be adaptable, ready to work in various classroom roles both indoors and outdoors, depending on individual needs. A caring, responsive approach is essential, whether running activities, leading outdoor experiences, or supervising pupils exploring outside.
