• Proven track record of targeted interventions linked to Communication and Interaction and Speech and Language.
• Experience implementing a total communication environment to support pupils with significant communication barriers.
• Involvement in planning, delivery, and evaluation of learning activities under teaching staff guidance.

Responsibilities and Qualifications

• Establish constructive relationships with the pupil and encourage interaction with others
• Promote inclusion through the development of social skills, language and emotional well‑being
• Liaise with other professionals both within and outside the school
• Show a high degree of initiative and react to given situations with integrity and compassion
• Have significant experience supporting pupils with SEND and diverse learning needs
• Support the planning, delivery, and evaluation of learning activities under the guidance of teaching staff
• Have a proven track record of implementing high‑quality targeted interventions linked to Communication and Interaction and Speech and Language
• Display sufficient experience with implementing a total communication environment to support pupils with significant communication barriers and needs
• Confidently lead interventions, support pupils with complex needs, contribute to planning and assessment, and promote positive learning outcomes across the school
• Contribute to pupil reviews, Individual Education Plans (IEPs), and progress reports
