Job Opportunity: Teaching Assistant in Harrogate

Axcis is recruiting on behalf of a well-regarded school in Harrogate for a full-time Teaching Assistant position. This is a permanent role starting in September, working term-time only, from 8 AM to 4 PM, Monday to Friday.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Support the classroom teacher in delivering engaging lessons.
2. Assist with preparing teaching materials and resources.
3. Provide support to students individually or in small groups.
4. Supervise students during break times and non-class activities.
5. Help maintain a safe, positive learning environment.
6. Monitor student progress and communicate feedback to teachers.
7. Participate in staff meetings and training sessions.

Requirements:

• Previous experience as a Teaching Assistant or similar role preferred.
• Passion for working with children and supporting education.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills.
• Patience, adaptability, and a positive attitude.
• Relevant qualification in education or childcare is desirable but not essential.
