Puttenham C of E Infant School is seeking enthusiastic Teaching Assistants to support learning and progress for children from Reception to Year 2. The role includes playground duties, resource preparation, helping the class teacher, and a lunch duty, with an ASAP start.

The school sits within The Good Shepherd Trust and offers a supportive team in a well-resourced environment near Guildford. 9 hours per week across Monday and Tuesday mornings.

Qualifications

• GCSE grades of at least 'C' in English and Maths
• Ability to read and write fluently, with confidence in maths
• Self-confidence, common sense and maturity
• A good sense of humour and effective communication skills
• Adaptability and enthusiasm
• SEN experience (desirable but not essential)
• Be confident to work with pupils from Reception to Year 2

About this Role

Puttenham C of E Infant School are looking for enthusiastic, talented, energetic Teaching Assistants to help progress children and inspire them to learn new things.

An excellent opportunity to join a school in The Good Shepherd Trust academy within easy reach of Guildford and the A3. Puttenham Infant School have well-resourced classrooms and a supportive staff team.

The role will include responsibilities such as: supporting children's learning (Reception to Year 2), undertaking playground duties, preparing resources, assisting the class teacher as well as a lunch duty.

Start Date: ASAP

Salary: GST Grade B: FTE: £24,644 Prorata: £5222

Contract: Permanent

Hours: 9 hours per week, Monday and Tuesday: 8.30 to 1pm
