TEACHING ASSISTANT

28 hours a week (Flexible hours can be negotiated for the right candidate)

Term time only (39 weeks)

Fixed Term Contract until August 2026

Grade 3 (£25,584 – 27,269) pro rata

The Headteacher and Governors are seeking to appoint an enthusiastic, hardworking, and highly motivated Teaching Assistant who:

1. Is qualified to a minimum of NVQ Level 2 in a relevant discipline
2. Is an outstanding and reflective practitioner with high expectations for all children
3. Has experience of working with pupils with a range of learning needs and SEMH difficulties
4. Has a good knowledge of the Early Years Foundation Stage Curriculum
5. Is a team player who is also able to work independently
6. Is able to communicate effectively in a wide range of situations
7. Has a good and effective range of behavioural management skills

This post is exempt from the Rehabilitation of Offenders Act 1974 and therefore will be subject to a DBS check from the Disclosure and Barring Service.
