Job summary

Academics is seeking a dedicated Teaching Assistant to join a welcoming school in Bexley, working across KS1 and KS2. The role is full-time and requires a fully enhanced DBS and enthusiasm for supporting children’s learning, development and wellbeing.

The ideal candidate will have primary school TA experience, a caring and nurturing approach, strong communication and teamwork, and a commitment to helping every child reach their full potential, including SEND support if possible.

TEACHING ASSISTANT

We are looking for a dedicated and enthusiastic Teaching Assistant to join a welcoming school in Bexley, working across KS1 and/or KS2.

The successful candidate will be passionate about supporting children's learning, development and wellbeing, and will be confident working as part of a supportive school team.

The ideal candidate will have:

• Experience working as a Teaching Assistant in a primary school setting

• Experience supporting children with SEND/SEN (preferred)

• A caring, patient and nurturing approach

• The ability to build positive relationships with pupils

DBS Requirement:
A fully enhanced DBS is required for this position. Candidates who do not currently hold one must be willing to apply for a new enhanced DBS.
