Job summary

GSL Education is seeking a SEN Teaching Assistant for a school in Bexley starting ASAP. The role is long-term and full-time, with hours 8:30 am – 4:30 pm, and a daily rate of £105-£120. You will support children with SEN, including ASD, on a 1:1 basis and across KS1-KS2, with required DBS and references.

Candidates should have recent primary school experience and the right to work in the UK, along with NI and address verification. The start date is September 2026.

Qualifications

• Experience supporting ASD/SEN children.
• Recent primary school-based experience.
• Able to support with SEN on a 1:1 basis.
• Able to support different children with a range of SEN needs.
• Able to be flexible and work across KS1-KS2.
• A valid DBS registered on the Update Service.
• 2-3 professional references covering a minimum of 2-3 years of employment history.
• Proof of right to work in the UK.
• Proof of national insurance.
• Proof of address (dated within the last three months).
