GSL Education are seeking an enthusiastic and reliable individual to join our team in Tower Hamlets as a Teaching Assistant (TA). This is a fantastic opportunity to work in a welcoming school environment that values commitment and excellence in education.

Key Responsibilities of a Teaching Assistant:

  • Support students across KS1 and KS2 with their learning and personal development.
  • Assist teachers in delivering engaging and inclusive lessons.
  • Provide one-to-one and small group support as required, helping students to stay on track and achieve their potential.
  • Contribute to a positive and nurturing learning environment.
  • Assist with classroom organisation and resource preparation.
  • Support students with SEN needs, adapting strategies to meet their individual requirements.
  • Uphold the school’s values and maintain a high standard of care and professionalism.

Teaching Assistant (TA) Requirements:

  • Proven experience working as a Teaching Assistant in a school setting.
  • Experience supporting students with Special Educational Needs (SEN).
  • A strong understanding of the primary curriculum, with the ability to support students across KS1 and KS2.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • A proactive and flexible approach to working with students and staff.
  • An Enhanced DBS certificate registered on the update service or willingness to apply for a new one.
