At Esland Grantham School, we offer high-quality education to 7 to 18-year-olds with a range of Special Educational Needs and Disabilities (SEND) with the primary need of Social, Emotional and Mental Health (SEMH). Using our Turning the Curve model, we support vulnerable young people to "turn the curve" on their past experiences and build towards a positive new chapter.
We are looking for patient and consistent teaching assistants who can work independently and take initiative while developing purposeful, strong relationships with children, staff, and parents. Experience in post 16 support, ASD and ADHD would be advantageous but not essential. The duties of a Teaching Assistant include (but are not limited to):
