Job summary

Aspris is seeking a dedicated Teaching Assistant for Fromefield Manor School in Frome. The role supports teachers in delivering bespoke, person-centred curricula for pupils aged 11–19 with ASD and complex needs.

Hours are 8:30am–4:00pm, Monday to Friday, term-time only. Experience with autism and knowledge of TEACCH/PECS are desirable. We offer a supportive environment with training, DBS sponsorship, and ongoing career progression.

Fromefield Manor School is a new SEN school (opened September 2024) located in central Frome, Somerset and is special school for up to 30 pupils, aged 11-19 who have a diagnosis of autism with associated complex needs.

Fromefield Manor is operating through a Total communication approach and so experience of working with pupils with ASD and some knowledge of the use of TEACCH and PECS systems would be desirable. As Teaching Assistant at Fromefield Manor, your role will be to support teachers in implementing bespoke person-centred curriculums in order to meet a wide range of learner needs.

Hours are 8.30am - 4pm, Monday - Friday, term-time only.
