A leading educational recruitment agency is seeking a motivated Teaching Assistant to support learning in a welcoming school environment starting September 2025. The role involves working with pupils, assisting in lesson delivery, and supporting those with additional needs. Ideal candidates will have experience with children, good communication skills, and a caring attitude.
We are seeking a motivated and enthusiastic Teaching Assistant to support teaching and learning within a welcoming and inclusive school environment. This is an excellent opportunity for someone passionate about education and eager to make a positive impact on pupils’ learning and development. Beginning September 2025.
Duties as a Teaching Assistant:
Support pupils individually or in small groups to reinforce learning
Assist the class teacher in delivering engaging and effective lessons
Help to prepare classroom resources and maintain a purposeful learning environment
Provide support for children with additional needs where required
Monitor and record pupil progress and behaviour
Promote positive behaviour and uphold school values
Ideal Teaching Assistant:
Experience working with children or young people (in schools or other settings)
Good communication and teamwork skills as a Teaching Assistant.
A proactive and flexible approach to supporting pupils and staff
A caring and patient attitude
Relevant qualifications (e.g. Level 2/3 in Supporting Teaching and Learning) – desirable but not essential
An understanding of safeguarding and child protection procedures
