Job summary

Ewell Grove Primary and Nursery School, part of Lumen Learning Trust, is seeking a dedicated class teaching assistant. The role runs 35 hours per week for 38 weeks per year (term time plus one week), 8:30am–3:30pm, with a 30-minute break.

Salary: FTE £25,133; Pro Rata £20,482. Deadline: 9am Tuesday 15th September 2026. Interviews 22nd September 2026. Start date ASAP.

Responsibilities

• Support class teaching and learning in a primary setting.
• Assist teachers with preparation, supervision and individual pupil support.
• Support inclusion and well-being of pupils and manage behaviour according to school policy.
• Participate in training and progression opportunities offered by the trust/school.

Working Hours – 35 hours per week, 38 weeks a year (term time plus one week), 8:30am to 3:30pm Monday to Friday with 30-minute unpaid break.
