The Holmesdale School in Swale Academies Trust is seeking a caring Teaching Assistant to join a supportive team. You will work with teachers to support learning, assist individuals or small groups, and promote inclusive practice for all pupils.

Hours are 30 per week, 8.30am-3.30pm, Monday to Friday, during term time with 5 staff development days (39 weeks). Interviews ASAP; DBS check required and opportunities for professional development.

Formación

• Experience of working with children in a school setting.
• GCSE English, Maths and Science.
• Proven ability to communicate effectively both orally and in writing.
• Evidence of TA qualifications or training would be an advantage.

We have a new opportunity to appoint a caring and supportive individual as a Teaching Assistant.

As a Teaching Assistant, you will be working with teachers to support teaching and learning, providing general and specific assistance to pupils and staff under the direction of the classroom teacher.

You will either work with individuals or small groups, supporting pupils to understand instructions and independent learning, helping to provide inclusion for all pupils.

The successful candidate would need to have:

• Experience of working with children in a similar environment;
• A good general education including English, Maths and Science GCSE's;
• Proven ability to communicate effectively both orally and in writing.

Evidence of other TA related qualifications or training, and experience of supporting those with specific learning difficulties would be an advantage.
