The Wenlock School in Dudley is seeking a dedicated Teaching Assistant to support students with additional needs, helping them overcome challenges and thrive in education.

You will work with teachers, families, therapists and other professionals to create a nurturing environment where students feel safe, supported, and empowered to succeed.

Qualifications

• GCSE English and Mathematics (Grade 4/C or above) or equivalent.
• Experience supporting students in a SEND or specialist education setting.
• Patient, resilient, empathetic, and adaptable to individual student needs.
• Confident supporting students with communication, learning, social, emotional, or behavioural needs.
• Able to remain calm, consistent, and positive when managing challenging situations.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills, with the ability to build effective relationships.
• Organised, reliable, and committed to achieving the best outcomes for students.
• Passionate about making a meaningful difference and committed to ongoing professional development.

Salary: £22,160.62 per annum (not pro rata)
