Job summary

A leading educational support provider in the UK is seeking a dedicated SEN Teaching Assistant to support pupils aged 5-11 with Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD) and Social Emotional and Mental Health (SEMH) needs. This role involves working closely with teachers to provide tailored educational support, encouraging positive behaviour and facilitating social development. Ideal candidates will have experience with SEND pupils, strong communication skills, and understanding of safeguarding practices. A permanent contract is offered, commencing January 2026.

Qualifications

  • Experience working with students with Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD) and Social Emotional and Mental Health (SEMH) needs.
  • Strong communication skills and ability to work collaboratively with teachers.
  • Patience and understanding when supporting pupils.

Salary: £29,000 to £32,000 per annum, based on experience
