Job summary

Yorke Mead is a happy, successful 2FE school with outdoor learning and forest school bases on site. The teaching assistant will work alongside a qualified teacher and other TAs to support pupils' learning, confidence and wellbeing.

This part-time role is 4 or 5 days per week with a minimum of 25 hours, and pay is on the H2–H4 scale depending on experience. Visits to view the school are welcomed.

Qualifications

• TA qualifications to at least level 2 and ideally level 3.
• Experience supporting children in a classroom setting.

Responsibilities

• Support classroom learning alongside a qualified teacher and other TAs.
• Assist with pupil learning and wellbeing and behaviour support.
• Participate in school visits and safeguarding checks.

Job description

Weare seeking to recruit a confident and experienced teaching assistant to support our in the classroom working alongside a qualified teacher and other teaching assistants. The successful candidate will have a passion for supporting childrenand ideally have a proven record of this.

Ideally the successful candidate will have completed a teaching assistant qualifications toat leastlevel 2 and ideally level 3.

This is a part time role working 4 or 5 days with flexibility in the hoursto be agreed with the successful candidate. There will be a minimum of 25hours.

The rate of pay will be at H2 - H4 depending on experience
