Job summary

Baginton Fields Academy in Coventry is seeking dedicated Support Staff to join our team. We focus on a communication-based/sensory curriculum for pupils with severe/complex learning difficulties and strive to deliver inspiring learning experiences.

Successful applicants will work closely with colleagues to develop differentiated curricula, create teaching resources, and support pupils to regulate behaviour, contributing to our Thrive Approach and school ethos.

• Building up evidence portfolios and teaching and learning resources

Job description

Baginton Fields Academy provides education and support for students with a broad range of special educational needs. We cater for students between the ages of 11 and 19.

Our Support Staff are heavily involved in;

• The development of a communication-based/sensory curriculum that is appropriate in content and structure for pupils with severe/complex learning difficulties
• Establishing curriculum differentiation to support access for pupils with severe/complex learning difficulties
• Development of early communication
• Building up evidence portfolios and teaching and learning resources
• Supporting pupils to regulate their behaviour
