Job summary

Connex Education Partnership partners with primary schools across Ammanford, Llanelli, Neath and Swansea to recruit experienced Teaching Assistants. You will support the class teacher with behaviour management, deliver instruction, and help with classroom activities to reinforce learning.

You will work with pupils one-on-one or in small groups, prepare learning materials, and monitor progress, contributing to a positive, inclusive environment across EYFS to KS2.

Qualifications

• Aged 18 and over.
• C or above in Maths and English GCSE or equivalent.
• DBS on the Update Service or willing to obtain one.
• EWC registered or eligible to register.

About the role

Connex Education is partnering with Primary Schools across Ammanford, Llanelli, Neath & Swansea to recruit experienced Teaching Assistants. You will be supporting the class teacher with behaviour management, providing additional instruction, and assisting with classroom activities. You should be able to work closely with pupils to reinforce learning, offer one-on-one support, and ensuring a positive learning environment.

Assignment details

A primary teaching assistant you will be working across EYFS, KS1 and KS2. You will support the class teacher by helping with lesson delivery, managing classroom behaviour, and providing individual or small group support to pupils. You will assist in preparing learning materials, monitoring pupil progress, and creating a positive, inclusive environment. Your role is essential in helping young learners develop foundational skills, supporting both academic and social-emotional growth.
