Job summary

Underley Garden School, part of Outcomes First Group, seeks a Teaching Assistant to support pupils aged 5–19 with complex needs including autism and learning disabilities. You will foster personal, social and academic development across a 24-hour curriculum and work closely with teachers and pastoral staff.

The role emphasizes safeguarding, a supportive team environment, and opportunities to assist with enrichment activities and personal care where needed.

We are seeking a dedicated Teaching Assistant to join our vibrant school community. Underley Garden School is a large school with small class sizes, focusing on pupils, aged 5-19, who have a range of complex needs associated with autism and learning disabilities, including complex communication, sensory and behavioural needs associated with their disabilities.
