We are seeking an exceptional individual to join our start-up Academy in South Bristol. This role offers the opportunity to be at the forefront of transforming the life chances of young people in the area. The ideal candidate will understand the importance of building strong relationships with students, families, colleagues, and the wider community, and will have high aspirations for themselves and their students.
Oasis Academy Daventry Road is a new 11-16 co-educational academy that opened in September 2023. Currently, it has a small cohort of Year 7 and 8 pupils and will expand over time. The academy is committed to supporting pupils with SEND needs and has a dedicated SEN department. The successful candidate will support in both 1:1 and in-class settings, contributing to our inclusive environment.
We seek a dedicated team player with excellent communication skills and experience working with young people, particularly those with SEND needs. The role requires enthusiasm, positivity, flexibility, patience, and resilience.
