Downs View is an Outstanding Special School and Colleges, providing education for young people with Special Education and Disability Needs (SEND). Our pupils are aged from 4 to 25 years and all have an Education Health and Care Plan (EHCP). Our school site is in Woodingdean with pupils aged 4 to 16. Our college site, Downs View Link College, is next to Varndean College and is for 16-19 year olds. And our other college site, Downs View Life Skills College, is in Patcham and is for 19-25 year olds.

Paid weeks per year:47.36 (inclusive of holiday entitlement)

We meet the learning needs for pupils with profound and multiple, severe and moderate learning difficulties. Many of our pupils have autism and communication difficulties.
