About the Role:
At Teaching Personnel, we are working closely with a school in Bolton who are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Teaching Assistant to join their Year 3 class with the role starting as soon as possible. The successful candidate will work alongside the teaching staff to provide high-quality support to students, ensuring they reach their full potential. This is an exciting opportunity for someone passionate about education and keen to make a difference in the lives of young learners.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Support the class teacher in the delivery of lessons and activities
2. Provide one-on-one or small group support to students who require additional help
3. Assist with classroom management and ensure a positive learning environment
4. Help students with their personal development, including social and emotional support
5. Support the preparation of teaching resources and classroom activities
6. Monitor and track student progress, providing feedback to teachers
7. Foster a nurturing and inclusive environment that supports all students’ needs

Key Requirements:

1. Previous experience working with children (ideally in an educational setting)
2. Strong communication skills and the ability to build positive relationships with students and staff
3. A proactive and flexible approach to work
4. Enthusiasm and a genuine passion for supporting children’s learning and development
5. Relevant qualifications (e.g., Level 2 or 3 Teaching Assistant qualification) are desirable but not essential
6. DBS check (or willingness to undergo one)
