The successful candidate will work with pupils who have been identified with SEMH (Social, Emotional and Mental Health needs), helping to improve their wellbeing and educational outcomes.

Contract Details for Teaching Assistant:

• Location: Blandford Forum, Dorset

• Minimum rate of pay: £ per day

Experience, Training, and Qualifications needed for the Teaching Assistant role:

• Previous experience in education is required, ideally within the SEN sector, although this is not essential if you have the right attitude and desire.
• Experience working with challenging behaviour is advantageous.
• A passion for working with children with SEMH.
• Proactive in the classroom and willing to participate in class activities.
• Energetic, enthusiastic, with a positive attitude towards working with SEN students.
• Level 3 Qualifications / ELSA Qualifications / Degree.

To be eligible, you must:

• Hold the Right to Work in the UK.
• Hold an enhanced child barred list DBS certificate registered with the online update service or be willing to process a new application.
• Provide two professional child-related references.
