Job summary

John O’Gaunt School is seeking Teaching Assistants to join our Study and Support team. The role involves working with students in small groups and on a one-to-one basis in the classroom. Applicants should have GCSE English and Maths, good teamwork skills, and the ability to work well with teenagers.

Previous experience is not essential, but training will be provided. Please refer to the attached Job Description for full duties and the Person Specification for essential qualifications.

The Role

We are looking for a Teaching Assistants to join our wonderful Study and Support team, to work with students in small groups and on a one to one basis within the classroom. Applicants should have a good level of education (including GCSE English and Maths), effective team working skills and the ability to work well with teenagers. Previous experience is not essential but would be an advantage. Support and training will be provided.
