Job summary

John O’Gaunt School invites trusted individuals to join our casual invigilator team for term-time examinations, ensuring exams run smoothly and in accordance with guidelines. Shifts cover internal and external assessments during May/June and throughout the academic year.

No prior invigilator experience is required as training will be provided, and applicants must complete statutory safeguarding training. The role offers flexible opportunities within a supportive school community and a commitment

The Role

We are looking for exam invigilators to supervise student examinations, either with groups or individuals, to ensure examinations (both internal and formal exams) are conducted according to necessary guidelines.

This will be a casual contract, working term time only as required to cover examinations. Availability during the formal summer exam period (May/June) in particular, is required. Previous experience is not essential; support and training will be provided. There will be a requirement to complete statutory online safeguarding training.
