Part-Time 15 Hours per Week Term Time Only (41 Weeks) Permanent

Are you a compassionate and resilient Teaching Assistant looking for a role where you can genuinely change lives?

We're recruiting on behalf of a well-established education provider that supports young people who have experienced barriers to learning. This is an incredibly rewarding opportunity to work with learners who may have become disengaged from mainstream education, helping them develop the confidence, skills and resilience needed to progress into further education, apprenticeships and employment.

Working closely with teachers and wider support staff, you'll provide one-to-one and small group support, encourage positive behaviour, and help learners overcome barriers that may be impacting their education. No two days will be the same, making this an ideal opportunity for someone who thrives on variety and enjoys making a meaningful difference.

  • Supervise learners during breaks, lunchtimes and other non-teaching periods.
  • Provide constructive feedback to learners to support their progress.
  • Maintain accurate learner records and contribute to monitoring progress.
  • Work collaboratively with teachers, parents/carers and wider professionals to ensure learners receive the support they need.
