GSL Education are looking for a Teaching Assistant to join a friendly and supportive school in Alford. You will work with experienced teachers and help children learn, grow, and do their best every day.

Key Responsibilities:

• Help students in and out of the classroom so they can learn and reach their goals.
• Work with the class teacher to get lessons ready and support children in small groups or one-to-one.
• Encourage good behaviour and positive friendships in the classroom.
• Keep an eye on how students are doing and share feedback with the teacher.
• Make sure the classroom is a safe, welcoming, and supportive place for everyone.

Requirements:

• Some experience working with children in a school, nursery, or similar setting.
• A patient, caring, and flexible attitude when helping young learners.
• Good communication skills and happy to work as part of a team.
• A real interest in helping children learn and grow.
• Have an enhanced DBS registered to the update service or be happy to apply for one with GSL Education.
• Have an updated CV (covering the last ten years, barring any unexplained gaps).
