Job summary

Lancaster Girls’ Grammar School is seeking a caring Teaching Assistant to inspire, support and motivate students. You will work closely with pupils, offering encouragement and understanding to help them reach their goals.

The ideal candidate will have TA experience, a commitment to improving outcomes, and the ability to stay organised in a busy school environment. This is a part-time, term-time role with a fixed term of one year, funded to support students with EHCPs.

Lancaster Girls’ Grammar School is a forward looking, selective state school with academy status and an outstanding record of promoting academic excellence. There are currently just over 1,000 students on roll across years 7 to 13. The admission policy prioritises girls from the Lancaster District, but students do travel to us from across Lancashire and Cumbria.
