Job summary

Best Practice Network seeks a Teaching Support Tutor in Maidstone to plan, mentor and support apprenticeship training for Teaching Assistant levels 3 and 5. You will assess skills, develop training plans, deliver English/ Maths training, and provide safeguarding guidance in line with curriculum and quality standards.

Role involves online classroom delivery, data reporting, coordinating reviews with line managers, and supporting end-point assessments.

Qualifications

Hold a relevant Level 5 qualification or have 2+ years’ experience as a teacher or Teaching Assistant with Speech and Language experience.
Must have up-to-date industry knowledge.
Hold Level 2 Numeracy and Literacy qualifications.
Experience of working with employers in a training or customer relations role.

Responsibilities

Assess skills and behaviours and provide feedback to learners.
Develop individual training plans tailored to candidate needs.
Deliver training in English and Maths and monitor progress.
Provide tutorial support including safeguarding and British Values.
Coordinate and support apprenticeship portfolios, end point assessments and evidence.
Manage administration and record keeping for candidates.
